Welcome to The Hive!

Hello, Bixbee family. Welcome to our updated blog, The Hive! This will be our space to share all things Bixbee with you. From product announcements, to interviews with our team, to posts highlighting you and your families, consider The Hive your space to see what we’re buzzing about right now. 

We’ll also use this blog to discuss our design process, to tell you about next steps in the company’s development, and to introduce you to some of our partners that we work with through our “One Here. One There.” mission.

For those who are unaware, Bixbee was founded with a special social mission to help school children who lack basic school supplies and support. Our mission allows us to collaborate with local and far-reaching nonprofits that provide children in need with the all important and necessary access to education.

As a certified B Corp, we are using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Bixbee works with select nonprofit organizations to support areas with high levels of need. It is important to us that the whole community benefits from our program, so we select organizations that can source and/or produce the backpacks with supplies locally. We are proud to do this work every day, and we can’t wait for you to hear their stories.

With the blog, we also want to have conversations with YOU, the moms, dads, grandparents, and family members who make sure your honey bees have all the things they need with products that are safe, useful, and uniquely fit to them. Beyond that, we want our designs to inspire and capture their creative spirit. The Hive is a big one, and we’d like to shine a light on you and yours as much as we do our own products.
